Save your first response

A walkthrough of saving your first AI response with Savelore.

Once Savelore is installed, saving a response takes two clicks. Here's how.

Step 1 — Go to ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini

Open any conversation in one of the three supported platforms. You can use an existing conversation or start a new one.

Step 2 — Find the save button

When you hover over any AI response, a small toolbar appears below it. Look for the bookmark icon (or "Save" button) in that toolbar.

Pro tip

The toolbar only appears on AI responses, not on your own messages. Hover directly over the response text to reveal it.

Step 3 — Click Save

Click the save button. A quick confirmation will appear. The response is now saved.

Step 4 — Open the sidebar to see it

Click the Savelore icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the sidebar. Your saved response will appear at the top of the list.

Add a tag or folder (optional)

After saving, you can organize the response:

  1. Click on the saved item in the sidebar
  2. Add a tag like coding, research, or recipes
  3. Move it to a folder if you have folders set up

What gets saved

Savelore saves:

  • The full text of the AI response
  • The platform it came from (ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini)
  • A link back to the original conversation
  • The date and time

It does not save your message/prompt by default — only the AI's response.

Searching your saves

Use the search bar at the top of the sidebar to find anything you've saved. Search works across the full text of all responses, not just titles.

Reality check

On the free plan, you can save up to 10 responses. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited saves.
